2006 Swedish pianist Carl Petersson graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. 2008 Carl made a World Première Recording of the two piano concertos by Friedrich von Flotow and in 2010 he recorded Leopold Godowsky's Java Suite. Summer 2012 Carl's new disc containing Flotows piano pieces ir released and fall 2012 Carl goes on a North American tour to Vancouver and Toronto with Grieg's piano concerto.

Carls trademark is Easy Listening. But never musically bankrupt. Carls repertory is always emotional, spiritual and virtuoso music that gives the listener a feeling of wanting more. Carl always chooses a healthy mix of more unknown pieces by composers such as Alkan, Godowsky and Albeniz, combining them with the likes of Bach, Mozart and Chopin. Read more

Carl has performed in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, The Czech Republic, France, U.S.A., Canada and Israel. In Canada and the U.S he had the World Premiere Performance of the second piano concerto by Friedrich von Flotow that was recorded for the Swedish Sterling label. During the season 2012/2013 Carl's will perform Grieg's piano no less than 16 times in USA, Canada, Sweden and Poland.

Carl is active as a pedagogue and he has given Master Classes in Sweden, Canada and the U.S. During his post graduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen he was teaching at the Academy. Currently he is teaching the piano studens at the Academy of Music in Kraków, Poland within his Ph.D. studies.
